As community & service activities will be kicking off for many MYP classes, along with continued CAS for DP, Student Council would like to explain the proper procedure for how to propose an event or activity.

The following is the proper procedure for how to submit a proposal form to Student Council:
    1. In a word document, answer the following questions:

      1. What is your event? Briefly describe it.

      2. Why are you hosting it? What is the cause for fundraising, if it is a community service event?

      3. Who is your target audience? How many people do you expect to participate?

      4. Where is your proposed location? When will the event take place?

      5. Describe any necessary resources that you need.

    2. Send the document to your Student Council representative. They will fill out the official proposal form.

    3. Once the proposal form is finished, it will be sent to a  SC executive member for checking and approval. If the proposal form is not yet satisfactory, it will be returned to the SC representative and the original proposer for editing.

    4. When the proposal form is finalized, the SC representative will print it out and bring it to an SC meeting for signing off.
